A full-time Nanny is required for 2 children. G7 & B2 years old
Our Children: We have two lovely, fun, and playful children who respond best to supportive encouragement. We are a mostly screen-free household, so they are used to being creative and playing independently.
Our Son (2): A cheerful and very chatty little boy. He is potty trained (nappies only for sleep) and eager to learn;he is currently doing well with phonics and numbers. He loves puzzles, building, animals, and exploring the outdoors. He currently attends football and forest school classes once a week.
Our Daughter (7, Year 3): A happy and bright girl. She loves being active and creative—her favourite activities include reading, colouring, art, gymnastics, and sports.
Role
Responsibilities & Typical Day: The role involves a mix of sole charge for our son and shared care for both children.
During Term Time: The role is primarily looking after our son during the day, including taking him to his morning classes a couple of days a week. It also involves collecting our daughter from school (a 15 min drive). Responsibilities then include after-school care, helping with homework and preparing tea.
During School Holidays: The role involves looking after both children, with no school pickup.
Driving: The role requires a driver with their own car for school collection and local classes. Car seats provided.

Any other specific requirements or relevant information:
I mostly work from home in an upstairs office. I enjoy coming down to join for lunch and taking occasional short breaks with the children when I can; they are very used to this routine and handle it well.
We have a dedicated playroom which opens onto the garden, where the children love to spend time. Our daughter enjoys riding her bike there, and our son is very keen on his balance bike and scooter. We are also just a two-minute walk from a lovely local park.
We place a high value on educational play and learning. Our daughter has daily homework, and the role involves supporting her with this using a positive, encouraging approach to help her enjoy the process while promoting independence. For our son, we are looking for someone to support age-appropriate learning through play, as he loves matching games, puzzles, and exploring numbers and letters.
