Busy family seeking a warm, reliable, and engaging temporary Nanny to care for four children in Frittenden, Kent. This position offers a wonderful opportunity to become part of their family for a short period, with the potential for further temporary work in the future.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for the care and well-being of four well-behaved children:
B11 who is academic and enjoys books and music.
G9 who enjoys cooking, sports, and crafts.
G6 who enjoys dolls, crafts, and stories.
B3 who enjoys imaginative play, crafts, and stories.
The family also has two dogs: a bouncy 1-year-old Labrador and a calmer 14-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier so must be comfortable with animals.Working Hours:
Mondays: 06:30 – 21:00. Flexibility exists for hours between 09:15 – 15:00 where you can either:
Perform household chores (cleaning, laundry, ironing).
Walk the dogs.
Or, not work these hours.
Fridays: 06:30 – 20:00. Flexibility exists for hours between 09:15 – 13:00 where you can either:
Perform household chores (cleaning, laundry, ironing).
Walk the dogs.
Or, not work these hours.
Not Required: During May half term or Bank Holidays.
Responsibilities:
Getting children up and ready for school.
School drop-offs and pick-ups (confident driver required – vehicle provided).
Providing children with breakfast and dinner.
Facilitating homework for older children.
Bathing and getting younger children ready for bed.
Engaging children in age-appropriate activities, including crafts, stories, and play.
Optional during flexible hours: Dog care (walking, feeding), cleaning, laundry, and ironing.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children.
Kind, patient, and nurturing personality – not too strict.
Confident driver with a valid driving license.
Enthusiasm for engaging children in fun and stimulating activities.
Ability to follow instructions and be reliable.
Salary:
£16 – £20 phg, dependent on hours/duties performed.
