Live-In Housekeeper/Nanny (September – December)
They are a busy family seeking a warm, reliable, and experienced Housekeeper/Nanny to
join their household, on a live-in basis for approximately three months, from September
through December.
They are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude, excellent attention to detail,
and the ability to take initiative and hit the ground running in a family environment.
Position Details
Location: Live-in position
Duration: Approximately 3 months (September–December)
Hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm Mondays to Fridays
Accommodation: Private bedroom provided
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping
General cleaning, tidying, and day-to-day household upkeep
Ensuring the home is maintained to a high standard at all times
Overseeing external cleaners when required
Managing dry cleaning drop-offs and collections
Running household errands, including grocery shopping, pharmacy visits, and
post office trips
Keeping household supplies stocked and organised
Cooking
Preparing healthy, nutritious home-cooked meals for the family
Assisting with meal planning and kitchen organisation
Childcare
Supporting the care of three children aged 2, 11, and 12
Assisting with school runs when required
Taking children to clubs, activities, and appointments
Supporting the mother with the children’s daily routines and schedules
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in a similar housekeeping and childcare role
Confident maintaining a well-run, organised family home
Experience caring for children of varying ages
Full UK driving licence (own vehicle not required)
Trustworthy, proactive, and highly organised
Comfortable working within a busy family household
Desirable
First Aid certification
Experience in live-in household roles
