Mums The Word Buckinghamshire
We are looking for a kind, reliable, and patient nanny to join a welcoming family in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, caring primarily for a lovely little boy aged 5 (turning 6 in October), with occasional care for his younger brother who turns 1 in July.
This is a sole charge role, ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys supporting children with additional needs (Autism) and can provide a calm, nurturing, and reassuring environment after school. The family is keen to find someone who will become a positive and dependable part of B5’s routine, helping him feel relaxed and settled at the end of his school day.
HOURS
Monday to Friday 2:30pm – 6:00pm (during term time)
(If you require more hours, an extra hour per day can be added in for some light housekeeping duties)
Plus during the holidays 2 full days per week (or otherwise agreed)
DUTIES
The role involves being at the family home ready for B5 to return from his SEN school at approximately 2:45pm and caring for him until 6:00pm. After a full school day, he enjoys a calm and relaxed environment, so the role will focus on gentle engagement such as drawing, watching television together, supervising him on his trampoline, and preparing and serving his dinner.
You may occasionally also help care for the younger brother.
B5 is loving, energetic, bossy and can be loud! The ideal nanny will be warm, patient, and understanding, with a nurturing approach and an ability to follow his lead and support his individual needs.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
-Experience with autism/SEN is beneficial but not essential- B5 tends to be more regulated at home, but you will require patience and the enthusiasm to learn beside him as he grows and develops!
-Confident managing sole charge
-Kind, calm, and reliable nature
-Happy working in a relaxed family environment

START DATE
