DUTIES

Primarily light-touch supervision – both boys prefer independent time (e.g. gaming), with no pressure to engage.
Some emotional regulation support and gentle prompting with occasional hands-on personal care if needed.
Occasional support with activities (rugby/scouts) and community outings, including rapport-based encouragement.
Understanding and/or experience of neurodivergence is essential, with a positive behaviour, low-demand approach and good understanding of the Zones of Regulation.
Experience of multi-agency working, contributing to brief reports/notes, and confidence administering prescribed medication (if required, and appropriately qualified) is an advantage.
Availability for occasional overnight, emergency, and short-notice cover (e.g. unplanned appointments or hospitalisation) would be a strong advantage.
