Oxfordshire

Nanny required for a family with a 2.5 year old boy.
DAYS & HOURS
Ideally office hours Tuesday (9-5) and Wednesday (8-5)
DUTIES & INFORMATION
Their little boy loves musical instruments, being sung to, being read to. He is a bright and bubbly young boy with an infectious smile and he is working hard to develop his communication skills and his range of movement.
Due to some consequences of being born very prematurely, he has some quite specific additional needs and experiences global development delay. He is predominantly fed through a nasal tube, and as he is not independently mobile, is reliant on parents/carers supporting his movement.
He also has some specific conditions that he takes medications for. These conditions are currently well controlled through a combination of diet and medication.  The parents will be responsible for his specific medication he needs to take, rather than the nanny.
The role would entail looking after him for two days a week and taking charge of his supported play/activities during these days. Ideally, it would also involve administering his feeds through his NGT, which would require some training (nurses from community team happy to provide this).
Either one of the parents would be at home, so nanny would never be solely responsible for his care, without any support in the house.
Non driver ok.
START DATE
September start for a min of 4 months (possibly longer)
SALARY
£15-£20/hour, dependent on experience. Would consider negotiating if someone has significant relevant experience of caring for children with complex additional needs
