Nanny/housekeeper required for a family moving to the area, with their 2 year old girl, who loves Reading / play groups / being outside / No special needs
and expecting their second child in Dec 2026.
DAYS & HOURS
30 hours but flexibility to increase – Monday to Thursday.
With potential to increase to 35 hours by mutual agreement
– Occasional evening babysitting (up to once per month)
DUTIES
Nanny / Housekeeper (Child‑Focused Role)
Overview:
– Child‑focused nanny role, with housekeeping support during nursery hours
– The 2‑year‑old will attend nursery in the village (2‑minute walk) in the mornings, 3–4 days per week
However, the first 3 months, will be full time care for the eldest, and then from Jan-27 she will be at nursery in the morning.
– Mum will be on maternity leave until December 2027 and will be the primary carer for the newborn
– Family has one friendly, house‑trained dog (Cocker Spaniel)
Role Clarity:
– This role is child‑focused and includes light household support only
– It does not include deep cleaning, heavy ironing, or sole charge of the newborn
Other:
– Ability to drive required
– Car available for use during working hours
– Parking available for the nanny’s own vehicle
Sole charge – some of the time (likely afternoons)
