Live in or out Nanny/housekeeper required for a family with a 10 year old girl, who is interested in sport (netball, hockey, cricket), all craft activities and anything to do with dogs!
(The family have one Labrador).
DAYS & HOURS
*Term time: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, childcare approx 4.15/5pm – 7pm plus additional hours as housekeeper available.
Flexibility appreciated depending on after school commitments.
*School holidays: similar number of weekly hours available, but flexibility as to how these are spread
Housekeeper aspect of role (if candidate interested in additional hours): flexible hours across Mon/Tues/ Thurs (term time) and flexibility as to how these are spread during school holidays.
* Additional hours to include ad hoc childcare on Wednesdays and Fridays +/- housekeeping, if you are interested.
DUTIES
Picking up the girl from school in central Oxford, either at 4.15 (if no activity) or 5.15 (if she has an activity- this will vary each term) and driving her home.
At home, it will involve supporting homework (she is very independent and keen to complete homework but benefits from an interested adult overseeing, engaging and supporting) and cooking her supper.
Additional housekeeping (to be agreed depending on candidate) could involve cleaning, laundry, preparing a family meal/ batch cooking, etc.
The priority for the family, is reliability and care of their daughter.
Candidate must be comfortable with dogs.
Housekeeping hours, holidays, accommodation etc are all flexible for the right candidate.
Mostly sole charge.
Will need to be a driver with own car.
Can consider nanny with own child.
Can offer live in.
They have a separate cottage, which is available from the summer and could be part of the package agreed.
The cottage is 2 story, with a mezzanine double bedroom, single bedroom/study, 2 bathrooms, sitting room, kitchen, small garden, parking.
The cottage is currently rented out at £1550 per month inc bills and tbc whether it is part of package for nanny/ housekeeper or separate, depending on hours agreed.
Option for candidate to have minimal / reduced rent.

Up to £25 PHG, depending on hours offered, flexibility, accommodation etc
Holidays (including public holidays):
Can be very flexible, but must be taken in (private) school holidays, due to mum working in a school.
