Permanent Nanny Housekeeper required in Hove, East Sussex. R:3287
A family new to MTW are looking for a Nanny Housekeeper to help mum with 3 children, boy aged 13, Girl 10 years and Boy 9 years old. This is a live in role but can offer daily for a local candidate. There is some flexibility with hours.
A little about the children
Boy 13 years old – can’t sit still, very sporty. Loves football, tennis, paddle and darts. Very interested in languages and cooking.
Girl 10 years old – favourite hobby is to sit on the sofa watching tv! She does acrobatics and Irish dancing but is a real home bird, loves to be in the garden on the trampoline.
Boy 9 years old – also pretty sporty, follows his big brother and likes to get involved with what ever sport he’s doing. He is extremely sociable and loves to be around people all the time.
Duties
Full Nursery duties
Dog walking
Sharing the load with mum (taking children to activities and groups)
Helping with homework
Entertaining the children when required
Housekeeping duties (weekly cleaner employed)
Start Date
Early July 2025 – happy to wait for the right candidate
Hours and Days
Monday to Friday with morning and afternoon hours TBC (but likely to be 7 to 9am and again from 3 to 7/8pm) There can be some flexibility on finish times for a few evenings and will be discussed during interviews.
There will be a Saturday shift on occasion and a day off in the week or overtime pay is offered.

Salary
Live in – £16 to £18 per hour gross
Daily – £18 to £20 per hour gross
Accommodation (if live in)
Bedroom and ensuite on a separate floor/area to the family bedrooms.
Additional Information
Pet friendly – family dog in the home
Driver ideally but happy to consider a non driver
NWOC welcome to apply (if daily)
Working along side mum but some sole charge.
As with all Mums the Word placements our candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience working with children, an Enhanced DBS, paediatric first aid certificates and at least 2 contactable references.
