Permanent Nanny required in Mayfield, East Sussex R1533 *POSITION GONE*
A lovely family are looking for a Nanny to care for 2 boys aged 11 months and 3 years old for 3 full days a week (36 hours) when mum returns to work after maternity leave. This is a sole charge role, where mum and dad commute to work and are keen to find a nanny happy to be out and about having adventures with the boys, educating, entertaining and enjoying the time with them. Ideally the candidate will have experience with these age groups and are kind, patient and confident.
Duties
Full nursery duties
The 3 year will be nursery for 2 of the days (8.15am to 4.15pm) so drop off and pick ups
Planning and organising age appropriate activities, including outdoors, arts and crafts and supporting independent and creative play.
Batch cooking for the children
Cooking well balanced home made meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks).
Supporting naptimes and the family rhythm
Discussing activities and meal plans with the parents
Salary
Competitive salary, holiday and expenses package available
Hours and days
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday – set days
7am to 7pm
Start date
Early September 2026
Additional Information
Driver required – there is the optional for a work car or the nanny is welcome to use their own car and work mileage will be paid at 0.55p per mile (with the children only and not the commute to work).

As with all Mums the Word placements our candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience working with children, an Enhanced DBS, paediatric first aid certificates and at least 2 contactable references.
