Maternity Nurse/Night Nanny required in Lewes, East Sussex. R8386 *POSITION CLOSED*

A lovely family new to Mum’s the Word are looking for a Maternity Nurse/Night Nanny for their first baby. This will be a mixture of nights and day shifts (mutually agreed). Baby is due mid March 2026 and the client would like the support for 2 – 4 weeks approximately but may be slightly extended.

Duties

Caring for the baby overnight

Supporting mum with the breast feeding.

Helping with the night time routine

Any additional support required by mum for the baby.

Hours and days

This is likely to be 6/7 days per week and hours can be discussed during interview stages.

Salary

To Be Agreed – mutual agreement

Driver required

Pet dog in the home so must be pet friendly – this is also a working farm so other animals are around.

Temporary role for approx. 2 to 4 weeks but may be extended if required and candidate is available

There is a bedroom and bed available for the candidate during working hours.

As with all Mums the Word placements our candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience working with children, an Enhanced DBS, paediatric first aid certificates and at least 2 contactable references.
