The role is mainly 3 or 4 X a week after school and the days vary but looking for availability on Wednesdays to collect children from school

Overview
Help needed with after school care for two boys age 9 and 6y. We are looking for someone kind and hard-working. To help support them with homework, supervise activities, and ensure a safe, fun environment that encourages learning and growth. This is a part time opportunity to develop your childcare skills while fostering a positive impact on young learners. The role is mainly 3 or 4 X a week after school and the days vary but looking for availability on Wednesdays to collect children from school, walk home or walk to nearby local activities when necessary, ensuring timely and safe arrival.
Responsibilities
- Assist children with educational activities in a supportive and encouraging manner, sometimes with homework if indicated
- Supervise children during after school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Ensure children have balanced meals and assist with bath time routine when necessary
- Help at home by maintaining a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play (i.e. tidying up)
- Support children in maintaining routines, independence and good manners
- Walk children to nearby local activities when necessary, ensuring timely and safe arrival
Salary
£15 to £20 depending on experience
