Part time Nanny, based in Forest Row. R9353
This wonderful family are looking for a part time after school nanny. There may be some additional hours when the parent travels with work and can involve proxy parenting (ad hoc) and babysitting. There are two girls aged 15 and 10 years old and a 14 year old boy who will need some care (mainly the youngest).
Duties
Some Nursery Duties
Tidying children’s rooms and the areas you use during the shift
Children’s laundry
School pick ups
Prepping and cooking meals for the children
Helping with homework
Dropping off and/or collecting from activities (if required)
Days and Hours
Monday, Tuesdays and Wednesday 3.30pm to 8.30pm
Occasional Thursdays (same hours) if available.
** There will be ad hoc times of proxy parenting, babysitting and hours during the day that may be required and agreed with mutual consent**
Salary
£18 – £20 gross per hour – this is negotiable for the right candidate.
Start Date
Early November 2025 – happy to wait for the right candidate/candidate can start before September if required.
Additional Information
Driver required – work car available, must be able to commute to work – there is good public transport
Daily role but can offer live in during the working week if required with own bedroom and shared bathroom with the children.
Permanent role
Sole charge.
As with all Mums the Word placements our candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience working with children, an Enhanced DBS, paediatric first aid certificates and at least 2 contactable references.
