Part Time Nanny for family based in Alton, Hampshire R9952
This lovely family known to MTW are looking for a part time nanny for their three children aged 6 (boy), 4 (boy) and 2 years old (girl). There is an option for plenty of additional hours/overtime and babysitting is on offer depending on the candidate’s preference.
***This on-going temp role is to cover the current Nanny’s Maternity Leave***
Duties
School and nursery runs
Child related housekeeping (laundry, bedding, tidying playroom, kitchen after use)
Playing and entertaining the children.
Trips out
Swimming lesson with the 4 year old boy
Feed prep and giving the children their meals.
Hours and Days
Tuesday and Wednesday 12pm to 6pm
(optional) Monday and Thursday 3 to 5pm
For a candidate with availability there is an option for plenty of additional hours/overtime and babysitting and is agreed with mutual consent.
Start Date
3rd March 2026 – with a shift prior to the start date so the candidate can work alongside the current nanny and learn the routine
Salary
£18+ gross per hour – negotiable for the right candidate
Additional Information
Temporary on-going position to cover Maternity Leave (can be up to 1 year)
Ofsted registered is desirable but not essential
Sole charge and daily
Driver required with own car – mileage paid at 0.45p per mile (all mileage with the children)
Pet friendly as there is a family dog.
As with all Mums the Word placements our candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience working with children, an Enhanced DBS, paediatric first aid certificates and at least 2 contactable references.
