A warm and friendly family based in Granborough, located near Winslow and Aylesbury are seeking a sole charge Housekeeper / Nanny to care for two children (B8.5 & G6.5).
B8.5 – enjoys football, Xbox and creative writing
G6.5– loves dancing, imaginative play and board games
DAYS & HOURS
3 afternoons per week
Monday – Wednesday
1.30pm – 6.30pm
(15–20 hours per week – candidate’s choice)
There is the option to add Thursday, 1.30pm – 6.30pm for candidates who would like additional hours.
DUTIES
Between 1.30pm – 3pm the role will include light household duties such as:
Washing and ironing
Hoovering and general tidying
Food preparation as required
From 3pm onwards, the role will be childcare-focused and include:
Collecting the children from the local bus stop (2-minute walk) or school gates (2 miles away)
Sole charge after-school care
Homework supervision
Creative play, games and activities
Preparing and cooking dinner for the children
Supporting bedtime preparation
The family are looking for someone who is kind, organised and reliable, with a genuine enjoyment of spending time with children and supporting their development.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Nanny must be a driver and have use of their own car
Family have a friendly cocker spaniel, so the right applicant must be comfortable with a dog in the home

SALARY
£18 gross per hour
