Permanent Nanny required in Bentworth near Alton, *AMENDED SPEC* R1687
This lovely family are relocating from London, so a nanny with knowledge of the area would be helpful but not essential. This role can be a daily or live in option, depending on which best suits the candidate. A sole charge role, caring for two boys aged 7 and 5 years old. A driver is required and the family are planning to add a pet dog to the home once they have settled in, so pet friendly is a must.
The hours are between 30/35 hours per week during term time (family can offer more or less if required) and 55 hours per week during the school holidays, the family are happy to level out the monthly pay to reflect this (pro rata)
This role would suit a proactive and fun nanny who enjoys the outdoors, having adventures with the boys and supporting their transition into a new school.
Duties
• Children’s laundry and wardrobe organisation
• Keeping children’s bedrooms, play areas and children’s belongings tidy and organised
• Preparing school uniforms, sports kits and anything needed for the following day
• Preparing healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for the children
• Batch cooking for the children
• Supporting with homework and reading as they progress through school
• Light housework to keep family life running smoothly, such as loading/unloading dishwasher, folding laundry, unpacking food shopping, managing bins/recycling
• Staying one step ahead of the children’s needs and helping to keep family life organised
There is a weekly cleaner, so no deep cleaning is required, but they are looking for someone who takes pride in leaving spaces tidy and organised at the end of the day.
Hours and Days
Monday to Friday
Term time – 7.30am to 9/10am and 2/3pm to 6.30pm (30 hours per week in total)
** The family are offering an additional 5 hours per week for the nanny to help with additional PA tasks and housekeeping** This is optional and only if the nanny would like more hours, can be negotiable on less or more for the right candidate.
School holidays – 7.30am to 6.30pm (55 hours per week)
**Both parents work and will be commuting some days per week. It would be very helpful to them to have some flexibility on start / end times in case of e.g. a train is running late etc.**
Salary
£18 – £20 per hour gross. This is depending on live in or daily and is negotiable for the right candidate
