We are a family of 4 who live in the Six Ways area of Cheltenham.
As our children are now getting older, we are looking for wraparound care. We need after school care from approx. 3-7pm Monday to Thursday. We also need holiday cover in the summer, Christmas, Easter and half term holidays.
Beyond those core hours, we are happy to offer more additional hours of housekeeping and gardening, for example:
Two full days 7.30-6.30 (including school drop off and pick up)
OR
Four days including a couple of hours of children’s laundry / ironing / batch cooking 2-6.30pm
In addition, we have always offered additional hours via babysitting / some proxy parenting.
We are also open to considering candidates who are open to more hours fulfilling additional household tasks eg cleaning / adult ironing / gardening. We are flexible in our approach and can give more details if of interest.
A little bit more about our family…
Our son is a very outgoing, active, lively boy, inquisitive and full of questions! He enjoys all sport, hockey, outdoor play, bike riding. He likes nothing more than a game of table tennis or a kickabout in the garden but is also capable of focused work time / games where he concentrates, too. He is learning to play guitar.
Our daughter can be initially more reserved and plays very independently. She has built some some strong friendships and loves spending time with friends and family. She loves reading, writing, drawing. She is learning to play piano. She enjoys swimming and enjoys bike rides. When she grows up, she wants to be a singer!
They are close to each other and protective of each other (despite the occasional squabble!) and like playing games together, putting on perfomances etc!
Salary TBD depending on role.
The role can be a live-in position (self-contained flat with separate kitchen/lounge provided), but live out also considered.
