Gloucestershire

A warm and welcoming family based in Gloucestershire is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
full-time Nanny to care for their three young children aged 5, 3 and 15 months.

Role

The family are hoping for someone warm, organised, and proactive who can support the children’s’ education, wellbeing, and development, whilst ensuring their days are stimulating, structured, and full of fun.

The role will involve assisting the children in the mornings with getting ready for the day,
school/nursery drop offs, arranging age related activities, assisting with early development stages,
after-school activities, crafts, and creative play. It is important to the family that the children get lots
of outdoor time and walks, making sure we are making the most out of the surroundings including
keeping in the know for local groups, events and activities.

The candidate will also be responsible for preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
While the children are at school/nursery, the nanny will be expected to take initiative in arranging the children’s appointments, managing their diaries, and assisting with the upkeep of the children’s
belongings/play areas. The role requires a highly organised individual who is able schedule their day
based around the children’s needs and the family’s busy diary.

Salary
The family is offering a full-time salary, 50 hours per week. Salary £40-45k based on experience. Live-in accommodation is available if required.

Hours/Days

Working hours are 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

The family is looking for someone who can drive, as there is limited public transport in the area. A car is available for the nanny to use during working hours, and a full, clean UK driving licence is essential.

The role is pet-friendly, as the family has a dog and two cats at home.

Start Date
They are hoping to find someone who can start as soon as possible, though they are willing to wait
for the right person. This is a long-term position, and they would love to find a nanny who can become a stable and positive presence in their children’s life as they grow.

Flexibility for occasional evening/weekend babysitting is welcomed and will be paid in addition.
