We are a kind, friendly, and respectful family looking for a live-in domestic couple to help us manage our home and support our three boys, aged 4, 7 and 9. We live in a beautiful renovated farmhouse with extensive gardens near Burford, surrounded by beautiful countryside walks — perfect for those who love the outdoors. And if you have a dog, they’re very welcome too.

Job Description
The family will be in residence for a maximum of eight months of the year, ensuring you have periods of quieter household management.
Housekeeping & Family Support
- Full housekeeping, including tidying, cleaning, laundry, and ironing
- Household organisation and maintenance
- Cooking for the children and some meal prep for the family
- Running errands, food shopping, and managing household supplies
- Helping with the children before and after school (breakfasts, tea, bathtime)
- Organising uniforms and after-school/extracurricular needs
- Babysitting, with occasional overnight proxy parenting
Grounds, Driving & Maintenance
- Driving duties: school run, airport pick-ups, and occasional evening events
- Car cleaning and upkeep
- Assisting the gardener with lawn mowing and garden care
- General house and garden maintenance
- Pool and barn upkeep
- Window cleaning (where safely accessible)
- Running errands and overseeing household security
About You
This role would suit a capable, proactive couple who enjoy working together, take pride in their work and love countryside living. Reliability, flexibility, and a positive, family-focused outlook are essential, as is a strong respect for confidentiality and privacy, which are of great importance to our family. Cooking would be a bonus but not essential.
