We are seeking a reliable, nurturing Norland Nanny to support a 6-year-old home-schooled girl at her father’s residence in Milton Keynes.
This role includes elements of sole-charge care as well as working alongside family members, so the ideal candidate must be confident and comfortable collaborating as part of a team.
HOURS
Every other week, Friday – Monday, 10am – 6pm, with longer weeks during school holidays and half terms.
The family understand that working every other week may feel challenging, so they are open to discussions about what would make this role most appealing. Finding the right nanny is very important, and flexibility on the salary can be considered to suit the right candidate.
DUTIES
Supporting homeschooling and learning activities
Providing attentive supervision and emotional support
Managing meals, playtime, and daily routines
Encouraging independence through structured yet flexible routines
Collaborating with family members to ensure continuity and consistency in care
The family are looking for someone who is adaptable, patient, and proactive, with a strong understanding of child development best practices, including emotional wellbeing, positive guidance, and structured routines.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Norland training preferred, or a teaching /child development background
Long term experience
Confident working both independently and as part of a team
Occasional UK travel
SALARY
£30 PHG
