Mums The Word Buckinghamshire

We are looking for a warm, reliable and organised live-out OR live-in Nanny/Housekeeper to support a welcoming family with three boys aged 10, 12 and 14.

(For live-in candidates, a separate cottage attached to the family home is available under a separate agreement.)

This is a flexible, long-term, live-out role that can be tailored to suit the right candidate. The family are looking for someone dependable and proactive who can become a valued part of their household. As the children are older and increasingly independent, the role is less about traditional nannying and more about providing reliable support, supervision and assistance around busy family schedules.

DAYS & HOURS
The role can be offered in two ways, depending on the successful candidate’s preference:

Option 1: Wrap-Around Childcare Role
Approximately 15 hours per week during term time, providing before and after-school care.
Hours are typically:

• 6:30am–8:15am, Monday to Friday
• 5:30pm–7:00pm, Monday to Friday

During school holidays, childcare hours increase to approximately 40 hours per week across 4 days.

Option 2: Nanny/Housekeeper Role
For candidates seeking a more substantial position, additional hours can be offered through housekeeping, household management and dog walking duties, creating a role of approximately 30–35 hours per week.

There is flexibility around the exact structure of the role, and the family are happy to discuss a schedule that works well for the right candidate.
