A warm and respectful family in Finchampstead is seeking a professional part-time nanny to care for their three children (aged 1 – 7). This is more than just a job! It’s an opportunity to become a trusted, long-term presence in a collaborative and values-driven household.
Both parents work in demanding roles and are looking for someone reliable, nurturing, and developmentally aware to help create a stable and enriching environment for their children.
This is a live-out role, ideal for a nanny based locally or within a comfortable 40-minute commute.
Days and Hours:
2pm-7pm for 3 days per week
9am-7pm 2 days per week
(Mon-Fri)
General Duties:

School pick-ups (10-minute drive)

Preparing nutritious, balanced meals for the children

Organising stimulating playdates, outings, and age-appropriate activities

Supporting early learning and homework with creativity and patience

Providing consistent emotional support and guidance, especially during afternoon wind-down routines

Occasional travel with the family (2–3 times a year, planned)

Flexibility to provide extra hours during school holidays (with notice)
Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience with children aged 1–8 years

Calm, kind, and emotionally attuned with a strong sense of structure

A childcare qualification or professional training (e.g. Norland-style) highly desirable

Confident communicator and fluent English speaker

Reliable, punctual, and proactive with a gentle but firm approach

Driver (car provided)

Lives locally or within a 40-minute commute to Finchampstead

Willing to become a consistent, long-term figure in the children’s lives
