Proxy Parent role for August Bank Holiday weekend, based in Winchester R1723
A family and friend are looking for Proxy Parent cover while they attend a wedding, this is a sole charge role for the Bank Holiday weekend in August (full details below). Two girls aged 3 (almost 4) years old.
Duties
Full care of both girls including
Prepping and feeding them
Entertaining them and ensuring they have fresh air
Bath and bedtime routine
Ensuring all area’s are tidy after using.
Hours and Days
Friday 28th August 2026 from 4pm approx. until Sunday 30th August 2026 at 11am approx.
Start Date
Friday 28th August 2026
Salary
Hourly rate is between £17 to £20 per hour during the waking hours and either NMW or a flat rate when the girls are in bed.
Additional Information
Accommodation for the nanny is a separate bedroom

Experience in Proxy Parenting roles desirable
No pets in the home
As with all Mums the Word placements our candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience working with children, an Enhanced DBS, paediatric first aid certificates and at least 2 contactable references.
