For 7year old girl who has Down syndrome. She follows instructions well but might find it difficult to express her needs. She uses makaton sometimes which would be helpful to have a basic knowledge of but not essential.She follows instructions well but might find it difficult to express her needs. Her behaviour is good and usually listens better when you show compassion. She enjoys lots of cuddles.
She loves Peppa Pig, she loves pretend play like cooking, reading books and colouring.
Days and hours
Tuesday and Wednesday
8am to 2pm
Duties
-Normal Nanny duties
-Some reading and speech homework which the family will provide
-Playing games and activities.
-Prompting her every 1.5 to 2 hours that she must go to the toilet. Accompanying her to ensure she actually goes and washes hands but otherwise she can independently wipe herself.
-Giving her lunch but this will usually be pre-prepared.
-Taking her to the park or an activity in the garden to get some fresh air
-Getting ready and Putting down for a Nap at 1.45pm
